Al Safa sign Legend Robert

Legend Robertin

Newly promoted Al Safa of Safwa (SBL) landed 30-year old British 216cm center Legend Robertin (college: Nicholls) for new season. He is the second import player in the roster as South Sudanese Madut Akec signed here earlier.
He played most recently at Cuenca Basket Club in Ecuadorian Liga Basquet Pro. He managed to play in three leagues in three countries last year (!!!). He also played for Gladiadores de Anzoategui in Venezuelan SPB where in 15 games he averaged 3.4ppg and 2.9rpg.
Robertin represented United Kingdom at the European Championship (FIBA EuroBasket) U18 Division B in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) twelve years ago. Robertin's team won Bronze and he had 1 points per game.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in four different countries playing on three different continents. Robertin is familiar with European, Latin American and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in Italy (Barcellona and Catania Alfa), Slovakia (Prievidza), Venezuela and United Kingdom (Manchester and Scorchers).
His team won Italian Serie C Silver Group Sicilia Regular Season in 2020.
Robertin graduated from Nicholls State University in 2018 and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball. He played for other colleges like: Clemson University, Chipola College.
